Growing up in Douglas, Georgia as a tobacco farmer, Rodney began his music career in 1962 playing bass for The Bushmen. During his seven years with the group, he became intrigued with recording music and actively started pursuing a career as an engineer in 1967.


In 1970, Rodney was approached by songwriter and producer Buddy Buie to build a studio and offered him the position as chief engineer. Rodney co-designed and oversaw the construction of the famous Studio One in Doraville, Georgia. For the next sixteen years, Rodney worked almost exclusively in the popular studio on hundreds of records.

Mark Neill

Mark Neill from Valdosta,  GA is a record producer and sound engineer. He is also a studio designer for record companies. He co-produced the album Brothers for The Black Keys who were awarded three  Grammys for the album in 2011. The lead single, "Tighten Up", spent 10 weeks on the Billboard Alternative Airplay and Billboard Rock chart reaching #1 on both charts. The song peaked at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, later being certified gold by the RIAA. April 2012 the album was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Pucci represented numerous blues, rock and soul music artists while at Capricorn Records in the 1970's and later in the 90's.  Some of the artists he worked with included the Allman Brothers Band, the Marshall Tucker Band, Sea Level, Wet Willie, Delbert McClinton, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and Elvin Bishop. Eddy Raven

Eddy Raven is a singer songwriter who lived in Metter, GA as a teenager. In the 1980s, he had a string of top ten songs, including 6 that went to No. 1 on the country music charts. Those songs include "I Got Mexico" (1984); "Shine, Shine, Shine" (1987); "I'm Gonna Get You" and "Joe Knows How to Live" (both 1988); and "In a Letter to You" and "Bayou Boys" (both 1989). Bob Richardson

Bob Richardson was a studio engineer at Mastersound Studios in Atlanta, GA working with notable recording artists The Swingin’ Medallions’ fraternity anthem, “Double Shot (of My Baby’s Love)”, Issac Hayes, recording Billy Joe Royal’s classic, “Down In The Boondocks”, and, later, the Classics IV 1967 chart-toppers “Spooky” and “Stormy” and others.


During the 1970s, Richardson remained active as an engineer, recording albums for the “Me and You (and a Dog Named Boo)” soft-rocker Lobo (Of A Simple Man, 1972; Calumet, 1973). Mastersound was used to record “Dueling Banjos,” the soundtrack signature for the Academy Award-nominated Deliverance (1972). In the 1980s, Richardson continued to host Issac Hayes, as well as a broad range of artists like Dionne Warwick, James Brown, Peabo Bryson, and Eddy Arnold. During Atlanta tour stops, Prince and Pink Floyd dropped by Mastersound to work on deadline projects. (A live version of Pink Floyd’s “On the Turning Away” was mixed for video release in 36 hours straight.)
