Rodney Mills Sound Engineer & Producer For .38 Special, Atlanta Rhythm Section & Many Other Artists

(Warner Robins, GA) Rodney Mills from Douglas, GA is an amazing sound engineer that transformed music in the 1970's/1980's. Rodney worked as a sound engineer and producer for numerous music artists - Billy Joe Royal, Stillwater, Mothers Finest, Randall Bramblett, Jan Smith, Scooter Lee, Alicia Bridges, Lynyrd Sknyrd, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, .38 Special, The Doobie Brothers, The Winstons, The Bushmen, Drive-By Truckers, Outlaws, Gregg Allman, Journey, R.E.M, The Lacs, Pearl Jam, Joe South, B. J. Thomas, Dennis Yost and the Classics IV, Mylon LeFevre, The Stamps Quartet, James Brown and the list just keeps going. He's earned over 55 gold and platinum records engineering, producing and mastering.  He was the mastermind of, co-designing and overseeing the construction of the famous studio, Studio One, in Doraville, GA. He's mastered tens of thousand of projects for numerous artists. He originally played bass for The Bushmen in the 1960's. In 1996 Rodney was inducted into The Georgia Music Hall of Fame.


In 1994, Rodney established Rodney Mills Masterhouse mastering projects for national and regional music artists. He told us, "I continue to enjoy working in music everyday and am grateful to have worked with all the artists and performers." His commitment to the music industry has been unwavering and we salute Rodney Mills today for his significant contributions to Georgia music.
