David Muse, born in Rome, GA, is a singer, songwriter, composer, record producer and musician. He joined Firefall as a member in 1975 and recorded with them on their smash hit "You Are The Woman" in 1976. The track is distinguished by the performance of the flute by Muse. He's been a member of, recorded and/or performed with Firefall (1975–1981, 1994-1995, 2000–2003, 2011–present), The Marshall Tucker Band (1996-2000 & 2003-2008), Boulder County Conspiracy (2012), Bertie Higgins (2005), Pam Rose (2004), Navarro and others. Muse has appeared on 27 albums and eight Top 40 hit  singles. He's received three gold and two platinum albums for his work. Along with Firefall, he appeared on Austin City Limits in 1977, The Midnight Special May 20, 1980 and on American Bandstand February 7, 1981.

Pylon was formed in 1979 in Athens, GA. The four members of Pylon were art students at the University of Georgia in Athens. Guitarist Randall Bewley and bass guitarist Michael Lachowski began playing music and attempting to form a band in 1978.  In 1979 Pylon was born. The band's danceable sound, a blend of new wave, post-punk, jangle pop, alternative rock and funk-rock, influenced the Athens music scene and the 1980s American pop underground. It's members were Randall Bewley, Curtis Crowe, Vanessa Briscoe Hay and Michael Lachowski.
