Kalen & Aslyn

Kalen & Aslyn is a pop duo from Athens, GA consisting of Heather "Aslyn" Mitchell Nash and Kalen Bush. Aslyn recorded and released two albums, "Lemon Love", peaking at #36 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart and "The Dandelion Sessions". She was signed to Capitol Records where the single "Be The Girl", from the album Lemon Love, peaked at #26 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart March 5, 2005. She also sang backup on recordings and in performances for the pop hit maker Kesha. Aslyn married Kalen October 2011 and they combined their musical talents to form the band DEGA in 2013. Kalen was a member of the band Ponderosa. Working with engineer Jon Ashley (The War On Drugs), the duo set up shop in their converted studio outside Athens, GA and molded “Girlfriend” into the perfect model, a slow churning sultry song aching for the early days of love. “Girlfriend” speaks to the different roles women are expected to play in relationships and how this can shift over time.

Larkin Poe is a rock band from Calhoun, GA now based in Nashville, TN  fronted by two sisters, Rebecca and Megan Lovell. In 2016, they played guitar on Steven Tyler's album We're All Somebody From Somewhere for the songs - "Sweet Louisiana" and Somebody New". In 2016 they made an appearance and performed on Conan O'Brien's television program Conan. Their album released November 9, 2018, Venom & Faith, reached #1 on the Billboard Blues Album chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Their second #1 album on the blues chart, Self Made Man, was released on June 12 2020. They released another album, Kindred Spirits", November 20, 2020 covering songs by Kenny Kravitz, Elton John, Phil Colling and others.

Dean and Mark Mathis (brothers pictured far left & far right), born in Hahira, GA and attending high school in Breman, GA are singers, songwriters and musicians. In 1959 the brothers recorded for Chess Records "Tell Him No",  which peaked at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. In 1960 they were playing in Shreveport, LA and met Larry Henley and formed the group The Newbeats, which became known for their #2 hit, "Bread and Butter".
