The LeFevres

The LeFevres, (Atlanta, GA) was a Christian Southern Gospel group who performed for more than 50 years. As the new medium of television became more popular, the group started appearing on local stations such as WAGA and traveled to other regional stations to appear on their programs as well. In the 1960s, the group's Gospel Singing Caravan, a syndicated program, was aired nationwide. In addition to this, the group toured relentlessly in the U.S. and Canada, notching as many as 250 shows a year.

Since 1921, the LeFevre name has always been a leader in Gospel Music. Today, the name is stronger than ever. The LeFevre Quartet from Atlanta, GA formed in 2005 and within only a year, Gospel Music fans voted The LeFevre Quartet 2006's Singing News Fan Awards Horizon Group of The Year. In 2009, their song, “Big Mighty God” was nominated for a Dove Award. In 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, The LeFevre Quartet was nominated as a Top 10 Traditional Quartet in the Singing News Magazine’s Fan Awards.

Sego Brothers & Naomi

In 1946, singer James Sego formed a singing group with his brothers Lamar and Walter "W.R." called “The Harmony Kings”, before settling on the name “The Sego Brothers.” Naomi Easter met James Sego in 1948. They were married in 1949 and had two sons, James Carlton and Ronnie. Naomi would join the group after a member fell ill and their name was changed to Sego Brothers & Naomi. Naomi Sego was featured on The Sego Brother’s first album with the song Is My Lord Satisfied With Me. The album sold more than 300,000 copies. The Sego Brothers and Naomi was the first Southern Gospel Group to sell over a million records with the song "Sorry, I Never Knew You in 1964".

The Sunshine Boys

The Sunshine Boys of Macon, GA were a Christian gospel quartet.  The group recorded over 800 songs during their career. Their release of "Peace In The Valley" written by another Georgian, Thomas A. Dorsey, sold over 1 million copies. The Sunshine Boys performed at The Golden Nugget on the strip in Las Vegas. Such accolades were due not only to their ability to sing spiritual quartet music with expertise, but also their versatility in performing country, western, pop, and jazz music as well. They were inducted into The Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2005.

The Statesmen Quartet

The Statesmen Quartet  were founded in Atlanta, GA in 1948 by Hovie Lister. The Statesmen were the first southern gospel group to have a nationally syndicated program on television, Singing Time In Dixie dominating the southern gospel music for two decades. The group retired in 2002. They were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1998.
