Wynn Varble, a native a Ellenwood, GA  is a country music songwriter with hits by Easton Corbin, Darryl Worley, Kellie Pickler and other country music artists.

Early Life
Wynn Varble is a singer / songwriter that was raised in Ellenwood, GA.  He picked up a guitar when
he was 15 years old and taught himself to play.  Forming a bluegrass band when he was 16, Varble
had music in his veins.  After graduating high school, he began playing the club circuit landing gigs
from Austin to Ft. Lauderdale.  At the time he was perfecting his style, not only as a country artist
but as a songwriter.  He credits Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Bob Wills and Jimmie Rodgers as
his primary musical influences.

In 1982, he visited some friends in Nashville spending several months writing with singer/songwriter
Dave Gibson.  This collaboration proved to be Wynn's way out of the club scene and into the
Nashville music community.
He relocated to Nashville in 1992 and and was introduced by Gibson to Cliff Williamson, then director
of Starstruck Writers Group.  Wynn was signed to the publisher in 1994.  Starstruck was later sold to
Warner/Chappell where he joined the writing staff.

Varble had his first #1 hit in 2003 with the song "Have You Forgotten" by country music artist Darryl
Worley.  The song was nominated for the CMA Song of the Year.  In 2008, "Waitin On A Woman",
which he co-wrote with Don Sampson, was nominated for CMA Song of the Year.  In 2009, he was
honored by the Nashville Songwriter's Association International for Songwriter of the Year.The song
"A Little More Country Than That", co-written with Rory Feek and Don Poythress and recorded by
Easton Corbin, peaked at #1 on the charts after 32 weeks and was nominated for CMA Song of the
